Dance, if you enjoy it! Dance is not only a good exercise but it also releases stress. (Singing, playing musical instruments are also wonderful stress relievers. If more desired by you, take in variety, one day swimming, one day badminton, one-day dance, or another activity as desired. Do all that you’ve really wanted to do for a long time!
Find an exercise partner. Exercise is more fun with company, and makes you stick to it. Enjoy your exercise.
If you use the bus, then get off the bus two to three stops earlier, than your own stop, and walk home. Park your vehicle at the farthest end of the parking lot, shopping centres, cinema halls etc. Take on more responsibilities at home, like buying the groceries, buying the bread, running errands, cleaning, dropping the children to school and going to the post–office etc. Walk up a couple of flights of stairs rather than taking the lift. Try and avoid taking the lift up to 3 floors.
Think and visualize yourself as a person who looks good, feels good and has energy. Think about your positive aspects and not your negative ones. Enjoy the surroundings; smell the flowers if in a park, think of pleasant thoughts rather than thinking about your bodily functions.
