What are the risk factors for high blood pressure?
The major risk factors for blood pressure are:
 
  • Preventable Lifestyle risk factors (that can be prevented or changed)
    • Lack of physical activity (a sedentary lifestyle).
    • Obesity. Or being overweight
    • Abdominal fat
    • High sodium intake/high salt intake
    • Excess alcohol.
       
  • Treatable or partly treatable risk factors:
